Stray Sheep (Sanshiro)

Hi,

I have just finished reading Sanshiro a book written by Natsume Soseki because my house's wifi could not work temporaly. It seemed to be one of great ways as a pastime.

Anyway, we can have various impression from this novel and Soseki's works. He was a forerunner of modern point of view, especially, such as  reraltionship between males and females. Simiaraly, he suggested the individualism. Therefore, a lot of his works are still easy for us to read and sympathisze.

During reading Sanshiro, I smelled like fall, and felt rhythmes of conversations grown up by the characters. There were some scenes related with flowers and perfumes. Actually, those smells appeared in the key scenes as important metaphor. Soseki pictured ordinary elites university student lives vividly, so that I may have smelled. In addition, the perplexing conversations of the characters were naturally and smoothly moving. Let us say the conversation between Sanshiro, who is the protagonist of the novel, and Hirota, who is an intellectual aquintance of Sanshiro, were authentic as sublime talks.

If you want to escape from the internet, it may be a good solution to read oldies.

Thank you for reading.

Kind regards,
