What is the purpose of writing this blog for me?

Lately, I have just finished reading the book "さみしい夜にはペンを持て(Have your pen in the lonely night)".
The reason why I bumped into this book because my colleague had asked me to introduce some books for teenagers. I needed to find a book that they can read and understand.
"Hace your pen in the lonely night" is a kind of mixture of self-enlightment books, novels, and allegory. There are three main characters : Tacology, Ikari, and Ojisan. This is the story of a school life arranged as the life in the sea.
A protagonist is Tacology, and he spend a dismal school life. One day, he was embarrassed due to one incident. The matter made him worse then. He skipped the school and met Ojisan who was a hermit club. Ojisan started talking to Tacology and Tacology also told Ojisan a lot of things.
Ojisan pointed out the importance of writing diary and recommend to Tacology. Then he started to write diary. Why did Ojisan encourage to Tacology to write diary? Through writing diary,what did Ojisan tell Tacology?
To sum up, this book teaches us that writing diary is discourse of myself. The key reader of my diary is myself when I will have forgotten to write it. The takeaway is not speaking, just writing.
