Pinball, 1973

Long time no see.

It has past so long time since I posted my last article. During last 2 months, I have had bunch of things that I want to share with you.

Two months ago, my working place had a farewell party and welcoming party, and I joined it, of course. Then, one co-worker talked to me,  and enjoyed conversation regarding Haruki Murakami, who is a Japanese famous writer. She told me that she had been a big fan of him, but not many people read his novels.

To be honest, I have read Murakami's works less than ten. Luckily, there was his one book: Pinball, 1973 in my book shelf, so I tried to pick it up and read it.

Pinball, 1973 is about the paralle story between ''me'' and '' Rat". They do not cross in the story, however, they shared the story. The key is the pinball machine, which stands a metaphar of younger days, melancholy, and tansient.

His works' concept is basically ambugious to understand, especially for first three works; Hear the wind song, Pinball, A wild sheep chase.

I am looking forward to talking with her again about his novel.

Thank you for reading.

Take care.
